PERSONNEL PROFILE

Creative Director  – Omon Anenih-Mordi

OaM has an Llb. in Law which she obtained from the University of Nottingham, England and an LlM. In Petroleum Law and Policy from the University of Dundee, Scotland where she graduated with distinction. She then went on to follow her passion for creativity and received formal training in one of London’s top interior design colleges. During her time in the UK, Omon worked in the interior design department at the American InterContinental University (AIU), London and gained experience working with Susan Llewellyn Associates, a high-end interior design practice in London.

In addition to running a successful interior design firm, Omon regularly contributes to a number of publications including ThisDay newspaper’s Saturday column on Home and Landscaping, and Essential Interiors; Nigeria’s first interior design magazine. She is a member of the Interior Design Association of Nigeria (IDAN) and enjoys spending her free time with her lovely husband and her adorable little dog, Crystal.

Project Manager – Emeka Mordi

Emeka has a degree in Management Information Systems from Drexel University in the United States. After completing his studies in the US, he returned to the UK where he worked with Universal Music and Sony Computer Entertainment Europe as regional Project Manager. Emeka successfully led teams that completed various high profile regional projects including the rollout of the Apple Online Store in Japan, the delivery of a new financial system for the EMEA region in Universal Music and was the Europe wide consultant for the PSN platform at Sony Computer Entertainment Europe.  He joined Blue Mahogany in 2008 and has successfully set up business processes and led the execution of various projects

Architect/Site Manager – Femi Elawure

Femi gained his degree in Architecture from the University of Ife and has since worked in various companies as an accomplished architect and site manager.  A firm believer that Nigeria is yet to produce enough architects to adquately represent the country on the world stage, Femi consistently looks to introduce new and innovtative ideas to solve site issues.  Femi brings his wealth of knowledge of processes, materials, artisans and the building market to bear on each project executed by Blue Mahogany. Femi enjoys reading, listening to music and meeting new people.

PA to the CD – Mfon Akpan Onyelukackukwu

Mfon is a graduate of Estate Management from Abia State University and a diploma holder in Computer Programming. Mfon practiced as an Estate Surveyor and achieved department head status before she hung up her surveyor boots in search of a new and exciting challenge. As the PA to the Creative Director, she got just that. She is responsible for the day to day smooth execution of the CD’s schedule. She also handles other office administrative duties and provides client liaison services on projects Blue Mahogany works on.

Blue Mahogany also works with other builders and artisans as projects demand and continues to add to its talented team of in-house professionals.
